A cricket ball of mass 100 gm is travelling at 30 m/s. It strikes a bat and travels back at th same speed. How much change in momentum does the bat suffer

momentum=mv

.1x30= 3joules

m= 100g = 100×10^(-3)kg

v = 30 m/s

momentum,p = m×v

 = 100 \times {10}^{ - 3}  \times 30

 = 3 \times  {10}^{3}  \times  {10}^{ - 3}

=3 kg m/s
