Given:-

  • Mass of ball ,m = 100g = 100/1000kg = 0.1 kg

  • Initial velocity ,u = 3m/s

  • Final velocity ,v = 0m/s

  • Time taken ,t = 0.03 s

To Find :-

  • Rate of Change Of Momentum , P

Solution:-

Using this Formula

Rate of change of Momentum

P = mv-mu/t

where,

P is change of momentum

m is the mass

v is the final velocity

u is the initial velocity

Substitute the value we get

→ Rate of Change Of Momentum = 0.1×0 - 0.1×3/0.03

→ Rate of Change Of Momentum = 0 - 0.3/0.03

→ Rate of Change Of Momentum = -0.3/0.03

→ Rate of Change Of Momentum = -30/3

→ Rate of Change Of Momentum = -10kgm/s²

Therefore, the rate of change of momentum is -10kgm/.
