A cricket ball weighing 1/4 kg hit a bat with a velocity of 8 metre per second the ball is hit back to the bowler leaving the bat with a velocity of 6 metre per second. What is the change in the momentum of the ball?

Change in linear momentum
=m(v-u)
=1/4(6-(-8))
=3.5
