one degree is equal to four minutes then 40×4=160 minutes means 2 hours 40 minutes.East is in the side where the time is less than prime meredian.so it's antipode west we will add up the time.5 p.m + 2 hours 40 minutes=7:40 p.m.we have the time at the prime meredian so at London it will telecast at 7:40 p.m but we have to find at 40° west so it will be 7:40 +2 hours 40 min = 10:20 p.m or we can find the difference of 40° east and 40° west is 80° then 80×4=320 min add it to 5 p.m
