The question says that, the team containing 6 players should offer minimum of 4 player, i.e., it can give 4,5 or 6 players for the selection.

And the players left, can be chosen from the other team.

Therefore, the answer is -

6C4×8C5 (choosing 4 players from team having 6 players, and 7 players from the other) + 6C5×8C6( choosing 5 players from team having 6 players, and 6 players from the other team) + 6C6×8C5(choosing 6 players from team having 6 players, and 5 players from the other team)

= 6C4×8C7 + 6C5×8C6 + 6C6×8C7

= 344
