a cricket team won 26 matches in a season. if they won 65% of the matches, how many matches did they play that season?

let the total no. of matches they played be x.
so,65% of x=26
65/100of x=26
13/20 of x=26
x=26×20/13
x=40
they played 40 matches that season.

Matches played = N

65/100 * N =  26

So   N = 26 * 100/65 = 40
