a cricketer can throw a ball to maximum horizontal distance of 160km .calculate the maximum vertical height to which he can throw the ball.

Range is maximum so theta = 45 degree
So, R = u^2/g
160 = u^2/10
u = 40 m/s
vertical height -
v = 0
v^2 - u^2 = 2gh
40^2 = 2*10*h
so h = 1600/20
h = 80 m
