The formula for range of a projectile is...
 \frac{ {v}^{2}  \sin2 \alpha  }{g}
The range of a projectile is maximum when the angle of projection is 45°.

Substituting the given values in the above equation, we get...

100 = (v² sin 90) ÷ 10
v² = 1000
Keeping the value this way...
Maximum height of a projectile is...
 \frac{ {v}^{2}  { \sin \alpha  }^{2} }{2g}
Substituting the values we have...

H = (1000×1/2)÷20
= 500/20
= 25 m

This is the maximum height the projectile can achieve when its angle of projection is 45° and its range is 100 m.

Alternatively, you can remember that maximum range is achieved at 45° and at 45°, R = 4H.
