Acceleration = change in velocity/time = (0 - 20) /0.1 = -200m/s²

To calculate force take Acceleration to be positive

Force = mass x Acceleration = 150/1000 x 200 = 30 N

given:
mass=150g=150/1000=0.15kg
t=0.1s
speed=v=20m/s
According to Newton's Second law:
F=ΔP/t
F=(0-20*0.15)/0.1
=-30N
∴force imparted by the ball on the hands of player is 30N
