A cricketer throws a ball towards the wickets at a distance of 7.5m from him by making an angle of 30°. Find the velocity of thrown?​

so here we go

so here ac represents velocity of ball thrown by fielder towards wickets

also bc is distance between wickets and fielder which is 7.5 m

and angle c is angle made by fielder while throwing ball

therefore angle c=30

as it is a ryt angle triangle

we can apply concept of trigonometry

so then cos c=bc upon ac

ie cos 30=7.5/ac

so cos 30=root 3/2

so then ac=15/root 3

apply conjugate method ie multiply rhsthroughout by root 3 we get

ac=15×root 3/3

ie ac=15 root 3

so ac=15×1.73

thus ac=25.95 m/s

hence velocity of ball thrown is 25.95 m/s
