Answer:

work done=force X displacement

50J=2N×displacement

50/2=displacement

25=displacement

therefore the ball will travel 25 m.

hope will be helpful ☺️

Question -

A cricketer uses up 50 J of energy to apply a

force of 2 N while hitting a cricket ball. How

far will the ball travel ?

Given -

  • Work done or energy = 50 J.
  • Force = 2 N.

To find -

  • The distance

Solution -

 \boxed{ \underline{ \blue{ \sf{ Work  \: done = Force × distance }}}}

50 J = 2 N × distance

50/2 = distance

25 m = distance

{ \green{ \underline{ \sf{ \therefore{The \:  ball  \: will  \: travel  \: a  \: distance = 25 m.}}}}}
