Edge of the cube= 22 cm
So, volume of the cubical block=(22 cm)³= 10648 cm³
Now, radius of each spherical ball= 1cm
So, volume of each spherical ball= 4/3πr³
= 4/3×22/7×1³= 4.19 cm³
So, number of balls that can be made= Volume of cubical block/ Volume of each spherical ball
= 10648/4.19
= 2541.28≈2541
Therefore, their area 2541 small spherical balls that can be made after melting the cubical block.
