A cube, each side of which is 10 cm, is suspended in a liquid of density 1.2 g/cc with its sides

verticals and its upper surface at the depth of 15 cm below the free surface of the liquid. Find the

thrust in newton on each of its surfaces (neglect atmospheric pressure).I will mark someone as brainliest.

Answer:

4.8 kg

Explanation:

Volume of liquid displaced =15×20×20cc

density of liquid =0.8gm/cc

∴ mass of cube =density of liquid × volume of displaced liquid

=0.8×15×20×20

=4800gm

=4.8 kg.
