Let the side of the cube be X

Now ,

X³ = 3³+4³+5³

X³ = 216

X = \sqrt[3]{216}

X = 6 cm.

Now,

lateral surface area of new cube = 4X²

= 4 × 6²

= 4 × 36

= 144 cm² ................♪ANS♪

heya frnd!

here's ur answer...

volume of new cube=3³+4³+5³

=(3×3×3)+(4×4×4)+(5×5×5)

=27+64+125

=216cm³

hence the volume of the new cube after melting the 3 cubes is 216cm³.

→side³=216cm³

→side=³√216

→side=6cm

★verification:-

volume of the new cube=side³

=6×6×6

=36×6

=216cm³

★hence verified★

→thus the side of the new cube is 6cm.

CSA (lateral surface area) of the new cube=4a²

=4×6²

=4×36

=144cm²

→lateral surface area of the cube is 144cm².

hope this helps..!
