Answer :-

The total surface area of the cube is 216 cm² respectively.

Given :

  • Volume of cube = 216 cm³

To find :

The total surface area of the cube.

Solution :

Let the side of the cube be 'a' cm

We know that,

Volume of cube = side × side × side cu. unit

or, a × a × a = 216 cm³

or, a³ = 216 cm³

or, a = ³√216 cm³

or, a = 6 cm.

Hence, one side of the cube is 6 cm.

We know that, A cube has six surfaces. Hence, the total surface area of the cube will be - 6a²

= {6 (6)²} sq. unit

= {6 × 6 × 6} cm²

= 216 cm²

Hence, the total surface area of the cube is 216 cm².
