The total surface area of cube so formed is 96 cm^2.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

The volume of cube = 64 cubic units

To find,  the total surface area of cube so formed = ?

∴The volume of cube = side^{3}

side^{3}= 64=4^{3}

∴ Side = 4 units

∴ Total surface area of cube = 6a^2

= 6(4)^2

=6\times 16

=96 cm^2

Hence, the total surface area of cube so formed is 96 cm^2.
