VOLUME OF BIGGER CUBE = 12mm × 12mm × 12mm = 1728 mm³

VOLUME OF SMALLER CUBE = 3mm × 3mm × 3mm = 81mm³

TOTAL NO OF SMALLER CUBES = 1728/27 = 64

THUS THERE ARE 64 SMALLER CUBES OF 3mm SIDE

Answer:

There are 64 smaller cubes.

Step-by-step explanation:

The dimension of bigger cube is 12mm.

Dimension of smaller cube is 3mm.

Volume of bigger cube =12*12*12

=1728mm^{3}

Volume of smaller cube =3*3*3

=27mm^{3}

Hence, number of smaller cubes =1728/27

=64

So, there are smaller 64 cubes.
