A cube of dimensions 6 x 6 x 6 is painted blue on all sides and then uniformly cut into
smaller cubes of 1 x 1 x 1 How many small cubes are present with only 1 side painted?

Answer:

36 - (12+4+4) = 36-20 = 16 cubes on 1 face

thus, cube = 6 face

Thus, 16 * 6 = 96 cubes

Thus, there are 96 small cubes of 1*1*1 which are present with only 1 side painted

On 1 face of the cube

There will be 4 X 4 = 16 smaller cube with 1 side painted.

And there are 6 faces in a cube So,

There will be 16 X 6 = 96 smaller cubes with only 1 side paints.
