A cube of each side 10 cm is placed inside a liquid. Calculate the thrust exerted by the liquid on any face, if the pressure at the face of the cube is 5Pa.

pressure= perpendicular force / area

= area = area of one side of cube = side^2 = 10^2

area = 100 cm^2

P= F/A

5= F/ 100

now cross multiply

5*100= F

500 N = F
