A cube of each side 4 cm is placed inside a liquid. The pressure at the center of one face of the cube is 5 Pa. Calculate the thrust exerted by
the liquid on this face.​

Force exerted by the liquid = Pressure � Area of the surface

= 15 Pascal x 0.01 m2 = 0.15 N

Thus, the force exerted on the face of cube = 0.15 N
