Step-by-step explanation:
If a cube of edge 1 cm is cut from the corner the shape would not be Cube.
You will get the answer by Subtraction of TSA of corner piece and entire cube.
TSA of whole cube = 6 × l^2
= 6 × 5^2
= 6 ×25
= 150 sq.cm
TSA of corner piece(cuboid) = 2(lb + bh + hl)
Given = Lenght = 5cm
Breadth = 1cm
Height = 1cm
= 2(5×1 + 1×1 + 1×5)
= 2(5 + 1 + 5)
= 2(11)
= 22 sq.cm
Hence,
=150 - 22
=128 sq.cm
