SoluTion :-

Let the real depth of the object from one side be x

$\sf {\mu=\frac{x}{6} =\frac{15-x}{4} }$

Solving for x, gives us,

$\sf {2x=45-3x}\\\\\sf {2x+3x=45}\\\\\sf {5x=45}\\\\\sf {x = \frac{45}{5} }\\\\\sf {x=9}$

$\sf {\therefore\ The\ value\ of\ \mu\ = \frac{9}{6} =1.5}$
