Hi there
Here's the answer
The cube has 6 sides and as per given data, cube side= 5cm

The cube is sliced into 1cm cubes
•°• Each side has 25(5×5) one cubic cm cubes painted
The cubes that lie at edges or on sides will have painted its sides more than once as it is shared with adjoining sides
&only 9(3×3) one cubic cm cubes will have painted on one side
°•° Six sides exist, the no. of cubes painted only on one side= 54(6×9)

The answer is 54.

;)
hope it helps

VemugantiRahul: that's it
VemugantiRahul: do u get it now?
shivam123443348: gt it
VemugantiRahul: if you remove all cubes sticked to it
VemugantiRahul: only one side has colour
VemugantiRahul: paint
shivam123443348: gt it then
VemugantiRahul: :) happy to hear
shivam123443348: thanks for the amazing explanation :)

Answer:

If we imagine one of the faces of a 5cm cube, we can easily say that each face would have (5×5)=25 cubes of side 1 cm.

Now, out of these, the boundary cubes on each face would have 2(boundary ones) or 3(corner ones) sides painted. So, on calculating, we have (3×3) =9 cubes on each face with exactly one side painted.

Hence, the answer is 9×6= 45cubes.
