it's l = a , b = a & h = a/2

TSA of 1 cuboid = 2(lb+lh+bh)

                          = 2(a×a + a×a/2 + a×a/2 )

                          = 2(4a²/2)

                          = 4a²

∴ TSA of the 2 cuboids formed = 2×4a²

                                                    = 8a²
