we will do like this

the volume of cube is equals to l ^3
216=l^3
3^√216=l
show the length of cube will become 6 cm

then the total surface area of cube is equals to 6 into length^2
then the answer of your question will come 216 cm cube is the surface area of cube

6a2=216
a2= 216/6
a2= 36
a=√36
a=6.cm
