A cube was cut through its centre into 2 equal piecos parallel to its base. The cube
has a side length of 10 cm. what new shapes are formed? Find the volume of each new
shape.

The shapes obtained are cuboids

length of each cuboid formed =10 cm

breadth=10cm

height=5cm

volume=l×b×h

=500cm^3
