Solution -

Let's assume the length as x meters

According to Question,

Volume of cube [length³] = 1,728 m³

⇒ x³ = 1,728

⇒ x³ = 12³

⇒ x = 12

∴ The length of cube = x m = 12 m

We know,

Total surface area of cube = 6 × length²

∵ Total surface area of cube

= [ 6 × 12² ] m²

= [ 6 × 144 ] m²

=  864 m²

∴ Total surface area of cube = 864 m²

volume of cubes = a³

1728 = a³

a = 12 m

Total surface area of cube =6a²

Total surface area of cube =6(12)²

Total surface area of cube = 864 m²
