Given :-

Volume of a cubical box = 1728cm^3

To find :-

The sides of a cubical box = ?

Solution :-

As we know,

Volume = side \times side \times side

Put the value of volume in the formula.

1728 = (side)^3

\sqrt[3]{1728} = side

\sqrt[3]{12 \times 12 \times 12} = side

side = 12 cm~each

Additional Information :-

▪ Volume of cube = side × side × side

▪ Diagonal of cube = \sqrt{3l}

▪Perimeter of cube = 12 × side

▪ Volume of cuboid = length × breadth × height

▪ Diagonal of cuboid = \sqrt{( l^2 + b^2 + h^2})

▪ Perimeter of cuboid = 4( length + breadth + height)
