let the lateral surface areas of the cubical and cynical boxes be l1 and l2
l1 =4(axa)
=4 x 10cm x 10 cm
=400 cm square
and l2= 2(length + breadth) height
= 2 (12.5 +10)8 cm square
= 360 cm square
therefore l1-l2=(400-360) cm square= 40 cm square
thus the cubical box has greater lateral surface area and greater by 40 cm square
