A cubical box has each of it's side 20cm long.A chalk box has a length of 10cm,width of 2cmand height of 8cm. How many chalk boxes can be placed in cubical box?

Answer:

Volume of cubical box = 20 × 20 × 20

= 8000.

Volume of chalk box = 10 × 2 × 8.

= 160.

No. of chalk boxes which can be placed in cubical box =  \frac {Volume\; of\; Cubical\; box}{Volume\; of\; Chalk\; box}

=  \frac {8000}{160}

= 50.
