A cubical box having side 10 cms is to be painted with red and white colour from outside. If the top is painted with red, and other part with white, find the total area to be painted with white​

=> Area that is white = Area of the cube - Area that is red

We know that Area of a cube = 6*(side)²

                                                 = 6*(10)²

                                                 = 6*100

                                                 = 600cm²

Therefore, area to be painted white = 600cm² - 100cm²

                                                            = 500cm²

Therefore, 500cm² is to be painted white.
