A cubical box with lid has a length of 30 cm. Find the cost of painting the inside and outside of the box at Rs 2 m 2 .

surface area of cube = 6a²
so total surface area= 6 x 0.30x0.30=0.54m²
now even the inside of the cube is coloured so total area which is coloured = 0.54X 2= 1.08 m²
cost of painting= 2 X 1.08= Rs2.16
