a cubical tank of side 5 m is filled with water. calculate thrust exerted by water on the vertical face of tank (density of water is 1000kg /m³)

d=m/v then u find mass ND put pressure formula mgh

pressure applied on an area = 5m×5m
= 125m square
weight of object = 1000 kg

gravitational acceleration is 9.8 m/sec square

weight of object = buoyant force (Archimedes principle)

buoyant force = 1000 ×9.8
= 9800
