Edge of cuboidal is 10 cm
So, Volume of block is
 = 10 \times 10 \times 10 = 1000cm {}^{3}
Now ,Edge of hollow is 4cm
So, Volume is
4 \times 4 \times 4 = 64cm {}^{3}
Hence , Volume of wood is
1000 - 64 = 936cm {}^{3}
