A cubical wooden box floating on water rises 2cm when 200 gm of stone is removed from it. What will be length of side of this box?

Let edge length of cube be x cm

Volume of water displaced by 200 g object is 2x^2cm3

Mass of 200gm block =Mass of water displaced

200g=V d

200g = 2 {x}^{2}  {cm}^{3}  \times 1 \frac{g}{ {cm}^{3} }

x =  \sqrt{ \frac{200}{2} }

x=10

length of side of this box=10cm.
