A cubiod has total surface 372 cm² and its lateral surface area is 189 cm², find the area and its base​

total surface area of the cuboid is given by 2 ( lb + bh + lh)

hence 2 ( lb + bh + lh ) = 372 sq

lateral surface area is given by 2 ( hl + hb)

2 ( hl + hb) = 188 sq cm

2 ( lb + bh + lh ) = 372 sq

ie 2lb + 2bh + 2hl = 372

2lb + 2( hl + hb) = 372

2lb + 189 = 372

2lb = 372 - 189 = 183

2lb = 183

lb = 91.5 sq cm

hence, the area of the base of this cuboiud is 91.5 sq cm
