Answer:

The maximum pressure exerted by the cuboid 11760 N/m^2

Explanation:

According to the problem the dimension of the cuboid is 0.4m x 0.6m x 0.2m The weight of the cuboi is 288 KGF

We know that

pressure=force/area

force=weight of the cube

     =mg

   =  288 ×(9.8m/s^2)

   = 2822.4 kgm/ s^2

    = 2822.4 N

area=area of base=(0.4)×(0.6)=.24m^2

pressure=force/area

             =  2822.4 N/0.24m^2

              = 11760 N/m^2
