volume of the cuboid = (l) ( b) ( h) = (6)(9)(12)= 648cm^3

dimension of the cube = 12cm

volume of the cube of side = ( side) ^2= (12)^3= 20736cm^3

number of cubes=

volume of the cuboid / volume of the cube = 648/20736= 32

hence 32 cubes can be cut from this cuboid
