A cuboid has dimensions 6 cm X 4cm X 2 cm. Find the number of cubes of 2 cm side that can be cut from cuboid​

Given :

Dimension of the cuboid is l=6cm,b=4cm,h=2cm

∴Volume of the cuboid =l×b×h=6×4×2=48cm ^3

Now , Dimension of the cube=2cm

∴Volume of the cube of side

=(side) ^2=(2) ^3 =8cm ^3

Number of cubes = Volume of cuboid / Volume of cube

Volume of cube = 48 / 8 = 6

Volume of cube = 48 / 8 = 6 Hence 6 cubes can be cut from this cuboid
