\huge\mathbb{SOLUTION:-}

\sf\underline{\underline{\purple{Given:-}}}

\sf\:\:\bullet Dimensions\:of\: cuboid\\ \\ \sf\:\implies 4.2m \:,1.4m\:,1.2m\\ \\ \sf\:\:\:\bullet Dimensions : of\:cube\\ \\ \sf\:\::\implies 20cm \:\:or\:0.2m

\boxed{\sf{Volume\:of\:cuboid=l\times b\times h}}

\boxed{\sf{Volume\:of\:cube=side{}^{3}}}

First find the volume of cuboid

\sf:\implies Volume\:of\: Cuboid=4.2\times 1.4\times 1.2\\ \\ \sf:\implies Volume=7.056m{}^{3}

\sf\underline{\blue{Volume\:of\:cuboid=7.056m{}^{3}}}

Now the Volume of cube

\sf:\implies Volume\:of\: Cube=0.2\times 0.2\times 0.2\\ \\ \sf:\implies Volume=0.008m{}^{3}

\sf\underline{\green{Volume\:of\:cube=0.008m{}^{3}}}

  • Now the Number of cubes that can be cut from cuboid

\sf\boxed{\purple{\sf{No.\:\:of\:Cubes=\dfrac{Volume\:of\: cuboid}{Volume\:of\:cube}}}}

\sf:\implies No.\:of \:Cubes=\cancel{\dfrac{7.056}{0.008}}\\ \\ \sf\implies No.\:of\:cubes=882

\sf\underline{\blue{Number\:of\:cubes=882}}

||✪✪ QUESTION ✪✪||

A cuboid has length of 4.2metre, breadth 1.4metre,height 1.2metre. Find the numbers of cubes each of length 20cm which can be cut from the cuboid ?

|| ★★ FORMULA USED ★★ ||

➳ Volume of cuboid with length as l , breadth as b and height as h is given by = l * b * h

➳ Volume of cube with sides as "a" is given by = a³ .

➳ Number of cubes Required = Volume of cuboid / volume of cube .

|| ✰✰ ANSWER ✰✰ ||

Given that, cuboid has length of 4.2metre, breadth 1.4metre,height 1.2metre.

So, its volume will be :-

volume of cuboid = ( 4.2 * 1.4 * 1.2) m³

______________________

Now, given that, side of cube is 20cm or = (20/100) = 0.2m . { As 100cm = 1m }.

So, its Volume will be :-

volume of cube = (0.2)³

➪ volume of = (0.2 * 0.2 * 0.2) m³

_____________________

Now, Number of cubes cut from Given cuboid will be :-

( Volume of cuboid ) / ( volume of cube .)

Putting values here we get :-

Number of cubes can be cut = (4.2 * 1.4 * 1.2) / (0.2 * 0.2 * 0.2)

☞ Required Number of cubes = (21 * 7 * 6)

☞ Required Number of cubes = 882 cubes.

Hence, Number of cubes Cut From the Given Cuboid are 882 .
