A cuboid has total surface area of 50 m^2 and lateral surface area is 30 m^2 Find the area of its base

TSA of cuboid

2(lb+bh+hl) = 50

lb+bh+hl=25

LSA of cuboid = 2h(l+b)

                2h(l+b) = 30

          => hl+hb = 15

Putting value in TSA,

bh + hl + lb = 25

bl = 10cm²

Area of base= b*l = 10cm²
