A cuboid has total surface area of 50m^2 and lateral surface area is 30m^2. Find the area of its base​

TSA of a cuboid = 2( lb+bh+hl) = 50m^2

lb+bh+hl = 25 m^2 ......(i)

LSA of a cuboid = 2h(l+b) = 30 m^2

h(l+b) = 15 m^2

hl+bh = 15 m^2

put in (i),

lb +15 = 25

lb = 10 m^2

Hence, Base area of cuboid = 10 m^2
