A cuboid has TSA of 60m2 and LSA of 40m2. Find area of the base.

Length of upper base=lower base=l

Height of upper base=lower base=b

area of base=lb

TSA=60m²=2(lb+bh+hl)

LSA=40m²=(2lb+2bh+2lh)-2lb=2bh+2lh

TSA-LSA=(2lb+2bh+2lh)-(2bh+2lh)

    60-40=2lb

   20=2lb

    10=lb
