A cuboid having dimensions 16m*11m*8m is melted to form a cylinder of radius 4m. What is the height of the cylinder?

Given:-✧・゚: *✧・゚:*

  • Dimension of Cuboid = 16m × 11m × 8m
  • Radius of Cylinder = 4m

Solution:-。.。:∞♡*♥

Volume of Cuboid = (l × b × h) cubic units

= 16 × 11 × 8

= 1408 m³

According to question:

Volume of Cuboid = Volume of Circle

Volume of Circle = πr²h

1408 = 22/7 × 4 × 4 × h

1 / h = 22/7 × 4 × 4 × 1 / 1408

1 / h = 1 / 28

h = 28m

So, ●○●○●○●○

We have found the height of cylinder, 28m

Formula used to solve:

  • Volume of Cuboid = ( l × b × h )
  • Volume of Cylinder = πr²h

Analysis:⋇⋆✦⋆⋇

We know that in this question the volume of cuboid and cylinder is equal and same. so, we can find the height of cylinder according to the formula..

I hope it's helpful for you.. ♩✧♪●♩
