Formula

surface area of cuboid= sum of srea of all its six rectangular faces= 2(lb + bh + lh)

given

L = 10m

h = 5m

according to question

2(50 + 10b + 5b) = 340

50 + 15b = 170

15b = 120

B = 8m

Step-by-step explanation:

length of cuboid = 10 m

height of cuboid = 5 m

Surface area = 2( lb + bh + hl )

340 = 2 ( 10b + 5b + 50)

170 - 50 = 15b

120/15 = b

So breadth is 8 m
