a cuboid is of dimensions 72cm x 48cm x 30 CM. how many small cubes with side 12 CM can be placed in the given cuboid​

Dimension of Cuboid:

Length: 72cm  

Breadth: 48cm  

Height: 30cm

Volume of cuboid = length x breadth x height

                              = 72 x 48 x 30

                              = 103680cm^3

Side of the cube = 12cm

Volume of cube = side^3

                           = (12)^3

                           = 1728cm^3

No. of cubes= \frac{volume of cuboid}{volume of cube}

                    = \frac{103680}{1728}

                    = 60

Therefore, 60 cubes of side 12cm can be fitted into cuboid of 72cm x 48cm x 30cm
