Answer:

volume of cuboid = l×b×h

72×54×36 = 139968cm³

volume of cube = l³

9×9×9= 729cm³

total number of cubes can placed in the given cuboid= 139968/729= 192

Before, finding the solution. Let's see on how to find the answer :

  • First multiply the dimensions of cuboid to get the volume of cuboid.
  • Then multiply the dimension of cube to get the volume of cube.
  • Divide the volume of Cuboid with the volume of cubes.

Given :

  • Volume of Cuboid = 72cm, 54cm and 36 cm.
  • Size of cubes = 9 cm

To find :

  • How many cubes can fit in cuboid.

Solution :

Volume of Cuboid = 72 × 54 × 36 cm

= 1,39,968 cm³

Hence, dimension is 1,39,968 cm³.

Volume of Cube = a × a × a

= 9 x 9 x 9

= 729 cm³

Now, let's find his many cubes can fit inside.

 \sf \: No \: of \: cubes  \:  =  \dfrac{1,39,968}{729}

 \sf \: No \: of \: cubes \: = 192

Hence, 192 cubes can fit inside the cuboid.
