Hey there !!

➡ Given :-

→ TSA of cuboid = 149 m² .

→ LSA of cuboid = 135 m² .

➡ To find :-

→ Area of the base .

▶ Answer:

We have,

LSA of cuboid = 135m² .

=> 2( l + b )h = 135 .

=> 2lh + 2bh = 135 ............(1) .

▶Now,

TSA of cuboid = 149m² .

=> 2( lb + bh + hl ) = 149 .

=> 2lb + 2bh + 2hl = 149 .

=> 2lb + 135 = 149. [ Using (1) . ]

=> 2lb = 149 - 135 .

=> 2lb = 14 .

=> lb = 14/7 .

•°• lb = 7 m² .

✔✔ Hence, area of base is 7 m² ✅✅.
