Given :  cuboid with volume 32 cm³  & height  = 4 cm

To find : Calculate the surface area.

Solution:

cuboid with volume 32 cm³

lwh = 32

h = 4

=> lw = 32/4

=> lw = 8  cm²

Surface area = 2lh + 2wh + 2lw

= 2lw + 2h(l + w)

= 2(8) + 2*4(l + w)

= 16  +  8 (l + w)

= 8 (2 + l + w ) cm²

Considering integral Values

lw = 8    so l   & w can be

1 , 8    or   2 , 4

Then Surface area = 8(2 + 1 + 8 )  = 88 cm²

or 8(2 + 2 + 4) =  64  cm²
