Answer:

the cost of aluminium required for making 20 such boxes at the rate of ₹15 per m^2 is Rs.70.5

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

a cuboidal aluminium box is 15cm by 25cm by 20cm.

To find:-

Find the cost of aluminium required for making 20 such boxes at the rate of ₹15 per

Solution:-

Measurements of an aluminium cuboidal box are 15cm ,25 cm ,20 cm

Let the length(l)=15cm

Breadth(b)=25cm

Height (h)=20cm

Required aluminium for making the cuboidal box

=Total surface area of the cuboid

Using formula:-

Total surface area of the Cuboid=2(lb+bh+hl) sq.units

=>TSA=2[(15×25)+(25×20)+(20×15)] sq.cm

=>TSA=2(375+500+300) cm²

=>TSA=2(1175)cm²

=>TSA=2350cm²

Aluminum sheet required for making a cuboidal box=2350cm²

Area of the such type of 20 boxes

=20×2350

=47000cm²

we know that 1m²=10000cm²

=>4.7m²

Cost of aluminium required for 1m²=Rs. 15

Total cost of aluminium required for 4.7m²

=4.7×15

=>Rs.70.5

Answer:

the cost of aluminium required for making 20 such boxes at the rate of ₹15 per m^2 is Rs.70.5
